Corrections
If you believe something we published is wrong, tell us which article, which specific claim, and what the correct information is. Include a source if you have one. We will verify it, and if we got it wrong we will correct the article and note what changed rather than editing quietly.
Corrections are the one category of message we treat as urgent. A factual error that stays live is worse for readers than an awkward public correction.
Press and research
We are happy to answer questions about our own published analysis, including methodology and how we arrived at a figure. If you are writing something that cites us, we would rather help you get it right than read a misquote later.
We do not accept sponsored posts, paid guest articles, link insertions, or payment for coverage. Pitches of that kind will not receive a reply. Genuine story tips and pointers to primary sources are always welcome.
