Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Token Exchange by Cadence Artifice collects when you read Token Exchange, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than the usual defensive boilerplate.

What we collect

Reading this site does not require an account. We do not ask for your name, and we do not build advertising profiles or sell personal data to anyone.

Analytics: aggregate, privacy-preserving measurement of which pages are read, so we know what is worth writing more of. No analytics cookie or identifier is stored unless you consent.
Email: if you subscribe, we store the address you gave us for the purpose of sending you the publication. Nothing else is attached to it.
Server logs: standard request metadata such as IP address, user agent, and requested path, retained briefly for security and abuse prevention.

Consent and cookies

We use Google Consent Mode. Our analytics tag is present on the page from the first request, but every storage and advertising permission it has is set to "denied" by default, so it cannot write cookies, read device identifiers, or send advertising signals before you decide. The banner on your first visit is what changes that.

If you decline, those permissions stay denied for the whole visit: no analytics or advertising cookies are written, and the site works normally without them. If you accept, the permissions you granted are turned on for that tag.

You can change your decision at any time using the "Manage consent" control in the site footer. Withdrawing consent takes effect immediately and denies those permissions again.

Email subscriptions

If you subscribe, we use your address for one purpose: sending you this publication. We do not rent, sell, or share subscriber lists, and we do not use subscriber addresses to target advertising anywhere else.

Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes your address from the sending list. You can also ask us to delete it outright by writing to the address below.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Because we deliberately collect very little, in most cases the answer is an email address and nothing more.

To make a request, email contact@kadns.io from the address concerned so we can be reasonably confident the request is genuinely yours. We will act on it without charging you and without making it difficult.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and change the date shown at the top. We will not quietly broaden the scope of data collection and leave the policy describing the old behaviour.
